FAQs

Straight Answers About Working With Ferry.

The basics are simple: no cost to you, no required inventory, and no merch program for your team to run.

Common Questions

What You’ll Want to Know

What does Ferry cost us?

Nothing. You pay no setup, design, store, fulfillment, or management fees. Ferry only makes money when the merch sells.

How does the money work?

From each sale, the direct costs to make, fulfill, ship, and process the order come out first. You receive 70% of the remaining profit, and Ferry receives 30%.

Do we have to buy inventory?

No. Inventory isn’t required. If physical inventory makes sense for part of your program, we can discuss it.

What if we already sell merch?

That’s fine. Ferry can work alongside an existing merch program instead of replacing it. We’ll look at what already works and agree on where Ferry can help.

What does Ferry do?

Ferry helps create the merch, builds and runs the online store, and manages orders, fulfillment, customer questions, returns, and ongoing updates.

What do you need from us?

Share your brand, ideas, and feedback; approve what goes live; and help your audience find the store. Ferry runs the day-to-day program.

Do we need finished designs?

No. Share whatever you already have—logos, slogans, colors, photos, past designs, or even just ideas. We can help create what’s missing.

How do customers find the store?

You can link it from your website, share it on social media, add QR codes to menus or brochures, or work it into campaigns you already run.

Who helps customers with their orders?

Ferry is the customer-facing support contact. We take care of order questions and coordinate shipping problems, returns, replacements, and refunds.

How long does it take to launch?

It depends on the collection and what brand materials already exist. We’ll agree on a realistic path before work begins and won’t go live until the products, store, and fulfillment are ready.

Is Ferry only for hospitality brands?

No. That’s where we’re starting, but Ferry can work with any brand or community people genuinely care about.
